2. Visiting this website
When you open this website, your browser automatically transmits technical data to our hosting provider's server. This includes your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the referring page, your browser type and operating system. The server stores this data in log files.
Your IP address is stored in anonymised form only: for IPv4 addresses the last 16 bits are removed, for IPv6 addresses the last 64 bits. This means the stored address can no longer be traced back to your device.
We need this data to deliver the website securely and to detect and prevent misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after 100 days.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising trackers or social media plug-ins. It loads no fonts, scripts or other content from third-party servers. For this reason, we do not ask for your consent with a cookie banner.
4. Contacting us by email
If you write to us, we process the data you send us: usually your name, your email address, your company and the content of your message. We use this data to answer your request and, where applicable, to prepare an offer or carry out a project.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete your data once your request has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply, for example under Hungarian accounting and tax law for business correspondence relating to contracts.
5. Hosting, email and recipients
We do not sell your data or pass it on for advertising purposes. Our website and our email inbox are hosted by Hintergrundbewegung Medien & Entertainment (owner: Steve Kraft), Moltkestr. 1, 68723 Oftersheim, Germany. The provider processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). All data is stored within the European Union; we do not transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- obtain access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have inaccurate data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR),
- have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise these rights, an email to hello@echonic.work is enough.
7. Complaints and legal remedies
You also have the right to take legal action before a court (Art. 79 GDPR). In Hungary, the regional courts (törvényszék) have jurisdiction; you may choose the court of your place of residence. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work. The authority responsible for us is the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, NAIH):
